On the active as a musician (guitar) until 1991, but had to discontinue the career because of wrecked fingers after the contamination from chemicals and plutonium after the crasch of the american military aircraft B52 on Thule Airbase in North Greenland in 1968.

Since then the work mainly has been about the Danish-Mexican co-operation, which was initiated together with his wife Ulla Jacobsen.

Has written articles and stories form Norway, Greenland, México, Perú, Chile, Argentina, Thailand and other places.
